WORTHY+WYLD STORY
From Brokenness to Wholeness: Our Story
Our Wyld Story
Our mission is to guide others into a life of balance and freedom by centering every movement, breath, and stillness in Christ. True peace and wholeness are found in Him alone. Through Christ-centered movement, mindful stillness, and intentional breath, we help others break free from the bondage of stress, fear, and striving—leading them into the abundant life of freedom that Jesus offers.
We are passionate about helping Christians grow deeper in their faith, enabling them to draw near to God's presence through physical and spiritual alignment. We also would love for seekers to come and experience what it is like to feel
His presence and experience His perfect peace.
It is Amy's personal mission to make holistic therapies available and accessible to all. She created Worthy+Wyld Wellness to provide others with a path toward wellness and wholeness. Not everyone can afford to hire a yoga therapist or even attend classes. So, when you purchase a membership one will be given to someone who needs it but can't afford it because of YOU.
We will also take part of our profits and provide scholarships for retreats and events. We have already been able to offer many scholarships to those that need it the most. You can also donate toward scholarships, nominate someone worthy or donate yourself.
Everyone is WORTHY of living WYLDLY FREE in Him!

AMY
Hello, Im Amy
I love Jesus and my family fiercely! I’m a mom of three, Mimi to four, and founder of Worthy+Wyld. But before any of that, I was a woman who walked through chronic illness and disappointment but found healing, joy, and wholeness through Jesus and holistic care.
While working in publishing for 35+ years, I pushed hard, neglecting my health until my body shut down. I was diagnosed with autoimmune issues, narcolepsy, and chronic fatigue. Mostly bedridden and given no hope by my doctors.
But I refused to accept that! Through prayer, God’s Word, and an unexpected introduction to Christian yoga, I reconnected with Jesus in a deeply personal way. I found healing and my true purpose in Christ through my YogaFaith teacher training.
Worthy+Wyld is a sacred space where women rediscover who they are in Christ. Whether you’re facing illness, trauma, grief, or just feel disconnected… you are not alone!
When I’m not holding space for others, I’m creating, traveling, designing, boating, and spending time with my family and friends. We are all born unique and a bit WYLD but we are all Worthy of God’s incredible love and grace!
Life is too short to live unwell. God designed our bodies to heal. I’m here for you to show you how.
I look forward to guiding your toward healing, Amy

Hello, Im Jamie
I love Jesus and the joy of wellness!
I am a 500‑hour registered yoga teacher, board‑certified lifestyle medicine consultant, certified personal trainer and retired Air Force ENT surgeon.
For more than 20 years, yoga has been my refuge — calming stress during medical school, deployment overseas, and the demands of military life. In every season, Jesus and yoga have been my lifelines, grounding me in peace and strength amidst uncertainty.
After retiring from active duty, I felt God calling me into a new chapter: one less stressful, more life-giving, and rooted in glorifying Him while being present for my husband and teenagers. Since then, God opened doors for me to complete my Master YogaFaith Teacher training, level one Yoga Therapy training, pursue board certification in Lifestyle Medicine, and continue studies in Sound Therapy — a practice I’ve found profoundly healing for stress and emotional well‑being. I also find joy and healing in hiking, cross-country skiing, and delighting in the beauty of God’s creation near my home in Alaska.
Together with Worthy+Wyld and Mindful Joy and Wellness, we create sacred spaces that invite healing, growth, and renewed joy in Christ. My mission is to encourage andsupport you as you embrace health, peace, and abundant living in God’s grace.
I am honored to journey with you, Jamie

Hello, Im Shannon
Faith and yoga have been foundational to my life, and my passion is sharing how, through Christ, we can use yoga to live abundantly and joyfully.
In my 20s during a challenging time, I walked into a yoga studio, and the practice had a profound impact. It helped me find peace amidst anxiety and depression, and it taught me how to sit in the present moment, amidst chaos, with awareness and calm (it still does). I wanted to understand yoga on a deeper level, and I began trainings, having the opportunity to learn under amazing teachers and mentors. Over the following years, I received my 500-hour yoga teacher training.
A neurological disease is prevalent in my family gene pool, and as my father’s experience with spinocerebellar ataxia progressed, I watched him robbed of his ability to move freely and function independently. A question arose: how can I help? I found yoga therapy, an emerging model of holistic health, as the answer. Yoga therapy uses the tools of yoga one on one or in small groups to empower the individual to address their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
Through YogaFaith, I became an accredited yoga therapist, and at the same time, deepened my relationship with and dependance on God.
Yoga is a gift to be shared. The practice allows us, through returning to our mat and creating sacred space in the midst of our full lives, to surrender all striving and to center mind, body and spirit on Christ, resting in His profound peace.
Aside from yoga, I enjoy cooking, reading and traveling. I live in the US and abroad, splitting time between Raleigh, NC and San Pedro, Belize. I’ve been married 23 years and am mom to a very demanding, but very cute Yorkshire Terrier.
Im honored to come alongside you on your journey, Shannon
Hello, Im Beth
After 34 years in education and a personal journey through chronic pain, I found healing and renewed purpose while pursuing my 200HR certification through YogaFaith Christian yoga teacher training in July 2024. I now teach with passion blending movement, scripture, and encouragement to uplift others in body, mind, and soul.
Currently pursuing my 300-hour Masters certification, I’m committed to growing, serving, and walking alongside others on their path to wellness.
When I’m not on the mat, you’ll find me traveling with my husband Tom (aka road-tripping!), cherishing time with family, loving life as a grandma, playing racquetball, swimming, biking, or hiking in God’s creation. I also dedicate time to volunteering, serving in various roles at church and the hospital to give back to the local community.
I look forward to enriching your life spiritually, mentally and physically. I’m excited to join you are on your wellness journey.
I hope to meet you soon, Beth
